Abdulhameed Al-Mahfadi
Chairman
Abdulhameed Al-Mahfadi is co-founder and Chairman of IBICD. He leads the organisation's strategy, partnerships and governance. From 2019 to 2021 he served on the board of DJIV e.V., where he helped deliver two capacity-building projects in Yemen in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). He brings this experience in development cooperation, together with close ties to Arab diaspora communities in Germany, to IBICD's work.
Moh Abdulmughni
Vice Chair
Mohammed Abdulmughni is co-founder and Vice Chair of IBICD. As a member of the Board of Directors, he shares responsibility for the organisation's strategic direction and its legal representation. He supports the Chairman in governance, partner relations and organisational development, and helps ensure that IBICD's work remains close to the communities it serves.
Obaid Qaiqab
Treasurer
Obaid Qaiqab is co-founder and Treasurer of IBICD and a member of its Board of Directors. He oversees the organisation's finances, including budgeting, bookkeeping and financial reporting to donors and the tax authorities. His focus is on transparent, accountable use of every euro entrusted to IBICD, in line with its charitable purposes.

Andrea Rebsamen
Senior Project Manager – Global South
Andrea Rebsamen is Senior Project Manager for the Global South at IBICD. Andrea leads the planning and delivery of IBICD's projects in its focus countries Yemen, Syria, Sudan and Egypt, coordinates the work of the country focal points and builds relationships with local partners. Andrea ensures that projects meet IBICD's quality standards and the requirements of its funding partners.
Taha Hassan
Head of Grants & Compliance
Taha Hassan is Head of Grants & Compliance at IBICD. He leads the organisation's funding applications to public and private donors and makes sure that every funded project complies with donor guidelines, reporting deadlines and documentation standards. His work gives IBICD's partners and funders confidence that resources are managed responsibly.
Moh Al-Qahwi
Inclusion & Disability Rights Officer
Moh Al-Qahwi is Inclusion & Disability Rights Officer at IBICD. He works to ensure that people with disabilities are included in every stage of IBICD's projects, from planning to evaluation, and that activities and materials are accessible. Guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, he also advocates for disability rights in the communities IBICD works with.
Edris Al-Ansi
Project Manager – Global North
Edris Al-Ansi is Project Manager for the Global North at IBICD. He manages IBICD's projects in Germany and Europe, including networking events and dialogue formats that bring together diaspora organisations, multipliers and other stakeholders. He builds bridges between communities in Europe and partners in IBICD's focus countries.
Mousab Azan
Grants & Compliance Officer
Mousab Azan is Grants & Compliance Officer at IBICD. He prepares funding applications and project budgets, tracks deadlines and compiles narrative and financial reports for donors. By keeping documentation complete and accurate, he helps ensure that IBICD meets the requirements of every funding partner.

Events Coordinator
Ahmed Awn is Events Coordinator at IBICD. He plans and organises conferences, workshops and networking events, from concept and invitations to logistics and participant management. His work creates spaces where communities, experts and partner organisations can meet, exchange ideas and develop joint initiatives.
Nezar Awn
Digital Lead
Nezar Awn is co-founder and Digital Lead of IBICD. He is responsible for the organisation's digital strategy, website and internal tools, and coordinates the IT team behind the Digital Health & Inclusive Access Initiative (DHIA). His goal is to use technology to make IBICD's work more efficient, visible and accessible.

Albara Qaiqab
Data Protection & IT Security Coordinator
Albara Qaiqab is Data Protection & IT Security Coordinator at IBICD. He makes sure that personal data, especially sensitive health data, is handled in line with the GDPR and protected by appropriate security measures. He also advises colleagues on secure working practices and data protection questions.
Ebrahim Al-Mekhlafi
Member of the Supervisory Board
Ebrahim Al-Mekhlafi is a member of IBICD's Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board independently oversees and advises the Board of Directors, approves the annual budget and strategic planning, and safeguards good governance. In this role, he helps ensure that IBICD acts transparently and in line with its statutes and mission.
